Mopinion provides you with three different feedback form types; Responsive for Web, Email Campaign and In-App Mobile. In this article we will explain the differences between the three.
Responsive Feedback Form For Web
Email Campaign Feedback Form
This is used if you want to collect feedback on your email campaigns and service. It is implemented by adding our HTML widget into your email template or by sharing the public URL of the feedback form. In-App Mobile Feedback Form
This is if you want to collect feedback from an app. It is implemented in your app by using the Mopinion SDK. This article will explain to you how you can do this in more detail.
Web vs In-App
Compared to an in-app form, the web form has more elements available to add to your form. The extra elements are: Website Data, Likert, Matrix, Link, Multimedia and Custom Front Page:
Web also provides more options for each element. For example, for a rating element, Web has the option of showing a legend, using it for a feedback widget in email, and setting a cookie with the answer:
Under ‘Build’>'Form', web form also has more options. You can change the display type, you have more translation settings, can block loading of web fonts and add external files:
There are also more design options available for a web form. For in-app form, you have the option to change background and error message color, which changes all the elements in your form, whereas you have a lot more options for the web form, and can have different settings for different elements.
In a web form, under ‘Design’>'Form', you have several options to design your feedback button and the shape of your form. Furthermore, you can add WCAG styling and custom CSS. For an in-app form, you only have the option to group your questions as cards.
