The Likert element is similar to the Radio Button, however, the Likert is preferred if you have several questions which all can take the same answers. The Matrix element is similar to the Likert element, though, the Matrix element can take different sets of answers. For example, if you want the respondents to select an answer, and give weight to how important the selected answer is to them.

To create a chart, you could, for example, add all questions, and filter these to the different values the question can take. Then, group against ‘All data’, and choose the bar chart, to see how often an answer was selected for each question. Below you will see an example for the Likert element:
